About Us
Founder - Chanda Holschbach
I am a Certified Veterinary Technician with a degree from the University of Minnesota. I own a 5 doctor Veterinary Practice in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I have been working with animals for over 20 years on a professional level. I have a husband and 3 beautiful children. Our family has a lot of pets. You name it, we have it. I have had a passion for helping animals all my life. From little on I can remember wanting to work with animals. As the owner of Packerland Veterinary Center I have been exposed to all sorts of situations over the years. There is one in particular that affected me so deeply that it has driven me to start this organization. We had a couple bring in a patient for knee surgery. This patient belonged to their daughter who was overseas on duty. The couple told us that this dog was EXTREMELY important to their daughter and that their daughter was going to spend all of the money that she earned while overseas to pay for her dogs surgery. I could rationalize this because I too would have done the same for my pets, HOWEVER, what I couldn't come to terms with was the fact that a service member who was overseas risking her life every day for the sake of my freedom was going to spend every last penny she made to pay for her dog's knee. It just didn't seem right to me. Needless to say, we helped!! That service member when she returned state side, came into the clinic to personally thank me and let me know what an impact it had made on her! Little did she know what kind of impact she had made on me, as well. She said that a lot of service members have to give their pets up because they can't find family or friends that are willing or able to care for their pets in their absence. Wow! I knew right then and there that I needed to do something about that. I want to make sure that the last thing that a service member should ever worry about is whether or not they are coming home to their pets and if they are healthy! So, please, help me make that happen! Together we can change lives and touch hearts!
Brittany Bartelt
Raised in green bay, unsure of which path she would take after high school and college she took a position as a receptionist at a veterinary clinic. Having always had a passion of working with animals, coupled with her innate ability to communicate with people she felt right at home. When approached to help create this organization, she was overwhelmed with joy. This organization allows her to help animals, and show her support for the men & women who serve and protect our country. Together we all have the ability to make a difference in people's lives, every day a service member silently makes a difference in our lives; it is our turn to return the favor.

I developed a strong aspiration to work with animals early on in life. My grandmother was an active volunteer for the Wildlife Sanctuary so my childhood home was filled with many different species of wildlife and pets. It was then that I learned to love and care¬ for animals. With this passion, I was a volunteer turned employee at a local animal shelter in Green Bay, WI. With natural communication skills and the desire to work with people, I redirected my career interest and found myself at Packerland Veterinary Center. At Packerland I have been given the opportunity to grow and do what I love doing. I find my job very rewarding and I love being part of a great team with a higher purpose. My fellow board members and I share a common devotion of wanting to help service members who are fighting for our freedom. We have all been touched in some way and we know that pets are not just animals in our homes... they are family, and we would like to help protect their family!

1998 carried him to his new role as Senior Network Engineer at American Medical Security (AMS), a large insurance company with a network exceeding 3000 computers. In the short 14 months that he was there, he led an evaluation and consolidation effort to move from hundreds of network servers to dozens, and he also led the implementation of a Microsoft Exchange Server, Internet Information Server and a centralized fax server network.
Driven to make IT easier for small businesses, 1999 brought Brian's full-time shift to OS Consulting, Inc., a small company he originally created in 1993 to serve the design, acquisition, implementation, and support needs of everything technology-related for smaller businesses with five to seventy five computers. In 2005, Brian changed the company name to ITConnexx.

As an Army veteran, I was extremely honored when I was asked to participate as a board member for the CARE organization. This unique and necessary service will greatly help those service members who are being deployed to maintain the freedom of Americans.
A little bit about me...I grew up in the LaCrosse, WI, area and went to high school in Onalaska. I completed my BS in criminology from the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point, and immediately upon graduation I began my career in the US Army. While serving our great nation I had the privilege of serving in South Korea, Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and Savannah, GA. I currently work as a territory business manager with Zoetis, which is the largest animal health Pharma company in the world.
In my free time, my three beautiful daughters and I enjoy playing with our Labrador Retrievers, boating, fishing, and playing a variety of sports.
